Rooftop Photovoltaic Installation at Press
The Sri Aurobindo Ashram Press hosts a rooftop solar PV system of 50 kWp. It was installed in 2017 and meets about 75% of the electrical energy requirement of the Ashram Press. Till date about 115,000+ kWh has been generated, which has mitigated approximately 96,600 kgCO2.

Groundwater Recharge
The groundwater recharge system in the Press premises was created in 2001 with one collection pit. Another one has been added recently. All the rainwater collected on the terrace is fed into the water collection pit. Maximum collection is during the monsoon months starting in October to early December.
